Consumer Finance Specialist
Join our finance team as a Consumer Finance Specialist: drive patient financing, manage credit risk, partner with banks, and streamline processes across a multinational network.
We're seeking a talented and experienced Consumer Finance Specialist in our finance department.
Responsibilities:
Support achievement of sales & cash flow targets through the application of financing options.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal financial policies and procedures.
Monitor the credit risk exposure and implement appropriate credit risk management strategies.
Identify and implement best practices in financial processes, systems, and controls to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the consumer finance department.
Assist in financial reconciliations with accounting.
Act as the primary point of contact for consumer finance matters for assigned countries. Oversee pending financing cases and manage escalations as needed.
Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions to provide a range of consumer finance credit options for patients.
Negotiate terms and conditions with financial institutions to ensure competitive rates and favorable terms for patients.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of available financial assistance options, including those offered by financial institutions, and educate the treatment coordinator (sales team) on the application process.
Participate in the automation of consumer finance applications and sales processes.
Develop solutions and internal operations to improve the patient financing experience.
Manage the recoverability of collections and ensure the least possible exposure to credit risk.
Be responsible for a variety of advanced reporting for consumer finance performance internally and with the providers.
Assist in other financial projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years of experience in financial control, payment operations, or consumer finance, preferably in a multinational or multi-entity environment.
Fluency in English, Spanish is a strong plus.
Experience working with ERP systems, CRM tools, and analytics platforms.
Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets.
High attention to detail and process discipline.
Strong cross-functional communication skills.
Problem-solving mindset.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
