We are looking for a Head of Platform Engineering to join our Onsite Team in Barcelona.

🔥What You’ll Do:

• Lead the strategy and execution for platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, and core

• backend systems.

• Own infrastructure scalability, reliability, observability, and operational performance.

• Drive improvements in CI/CD, deployment pipelines, monitoring, and incident

• management.

• Lead the evolution of shared platform services and system-level backend components built in Java, Node.js.

• Partner with product and engineering leaders to standardize architecture and engineering practices across teams.

• Improve developer productivity and platform capabilities for engineering teams.

• Drive infrastructure cost optimization and cloud governance initiatives.

• Improve security, resiliency, and disaster recovery processes.

• Build and mentor high-performing platform and infrastructure engineering teams.

• Collaborate closely with leadership to support long-term technical strategy and organizational scaling.

🔥Requirements:

• Strong experience leading platform engineering and infrastructure.

• Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.

• Strong experience with backend systems and modern software architecture.

• Hands-on experience with AWS/GCP/Azure, Kubernetes, CI/CD systems, and

• infrastructure-as-code.

• Experience improving reliability, scalability, and engineering efficiency in high-growth environments.

• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

• Comfortable operating in fast-paced international product organizations.
